The poor poor little girl goat - I hope she wasn't in too much pain. At least she wasn't still here by our house because that would have been hard on Blaiser.

Wow. That was short lived...pardon the pun :-)

Well...I hope you get another one after going through all that work fixing her up for milking. Sorry to hear of your loss.

The one that died was one of the kids that came with the milking goat, so we still have 3 goats: Milker, Pregnant one, and the young billygoat (brother of the one that died).

The little kid that died was really the best looking of the quartet. I found out today that my co-owners son sobbed and sobbed last night after hearing that the goat had died. Poor guy.

It is so sad when an animal dies, especially a baby one. It is part of growing up that is missed by many people, but I think children who go through it end up emotionally stronger because of it.

I agree with Dawn...it is a part of growing up. I lost alot of cats when I was growing up and it made me question and face things. I remember you going thru the loss of a favorite goat(Julius) when you were little....it was really hard. It's really interesting that you chose to have goats as an adult. Cool!
